Paine Grande Lodge
Torres del Paine National Park.
Located on the edge of Lake Pehoe, with beautiful views over Cuernos del Paine and Paine Grande Mountain, Paine Grande lodge is the starting or ending point of Glacier Grey and French Valley trails, as well as part of the W Circuit and Big Circuit (the ‘O’).
Refugio Paine Grande is open all year round.
Paine Grande Lodge has a capacity for 100 guests, in shared and mixed rooms in bunk beds with simple bed (you bring your own sleeping bag) or made up bed (sheets and cover included). Rooms do not feature heating system. Towels are available for an extra fee.
Paine Grande lodge features a cafeteria with a daily menu and 1 vegetarian alternative. Dinner, breakfast and lunch or box lunch are available, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, wine and beer. Throughout the day, coffee, tea, and some bakery are available. Dinner must be reserved before 17:00 hrs and box lunch must be requested when checking in.
Located on the second floor, Paine Grande´s bar offers a beautiful view over Lake Pehoe and Cuernos del Paine. Enjoy a drink, a beer or a glass of wine with your fellow hikers.
The refugio features communal bathrooms (separated men/women), with cold water sinks and hot water showers with push-button valves to save water (Please check showers operating schedule at the front desk).
Plugs are available in the lounge area, only for guests (220 CV voltage). There is no electricity at night, in order to save energy. Check the working hours at the front desk.
